Okay, I am definitely not a photographer but I whipped these up this morning and had to share the recipe! They are way easy to make and everyone will think you slaved in the kitchen for hours
Ingredients:
2 cup of Pancake mix
1 1/2 cup water (substitute:milk)
1 to 2 tablespoons of sugar (depending on how sweet you want them)
2 teaspoon of cinnamon
2 teaspoons of pure vanilla extract
1 1/2 ripe bananas
Oil (for pan) about 1 teaspoon per pancake
bananas, butter, and syrup for garnish
Instructions:
Combine the mix, water, sugar, cinnamon and vanilla together with a whisk. (The great thing about this recipe is you can change around the amounts of sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla without ruining the mix so feel free to add or put less...the more the better) Fold in the ripe bananas. Place oil in pan and spread around. Pour desired batter in your pan and cook until lightly brown. After cooked place on plate and spread with butter and garnish with bananas and syrup
Great tip:
I love bananas in banana bread and that's pretty much it. If you are the same way (even if you aren't) a great way to have ripe bananas on hand is to freeze your bananas when they get ripe. If you put them in a freezer bag they will last for months. When your ready to use: put the frozen banana in microwave on defrost for 30 to 45 seconds or so and it will be ready to mush in any recipe
